We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Senior Receptionist to join Enterprise Mobility at our European Headquarters in Egham, Surrey.

 

As the face of our organisation and the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and professional experience for everyone who visits our office. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, strong organisational capability, keen attention to detail, and the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a warm, welcoming, and professional presence at all times.

Additional Information:

 

Location: Egham, Surrey, TW20 9FB (Plenty of free on site parking and approx. 15 minutes walk from Egham station).

 

Hours: 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with flexibility required to support business needs.

 

Salary: Competitive.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and support a team of three Receptionists, ensuring a professional and efficient front-of-house operation.
  • Manage the organisation's switchboard, handling incoming calls promptly and directing enquiries appropriately.
  • Welcome visitors and guests, providing a professional first impression and directing them to the relevant departments or meeting locations.
  • Build effective working relationships with employees, visitors and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Maintain accurate security and visitor records, including visitor logs, access passes and vehicle permits.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, deliveries and inter-office correspondence.
  • Liaise with security personnel, housekeeping teams and external contractors to support the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
  • Maintain and regularly update reception procedures, documentation and operational guidelines.
  • Provide facilities management support, assisting with workplace and office-related activities as required.
  • Oversee the ordering, stock control and distribution of office consumables, including stationery, first aid supplies, security items and kitchen provisions.
  • Manage and maintain company-wide contact databases, ensuring organisational information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Act as a Fire Marshal and support emergency evacuation procedures (training provided)
  • Carry out a range of administrative tasks and provide wider business support as required.

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach.
  • Prior experience supervising, coaching or supporting team members within an office or customer-facing environment.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable, adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic and busy working environment.
  • Strong ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional presentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
