    Enterprise Rent A Car have an immediate opening for an Accountant to join the team at our European Head Office based in Egham, Surrey.


    This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to achieve continued growth and success within Business Management. The UK Corporate Business Management Team is responsible for voluminous ledgers such as Direct Costing, Car Sales and Enterprise Car Club, as well as centralised European functions and external audit, providing unique expertise to your Enterprise CV and chance to develop your Business Management career.


    This is an excellent role if you are a self-motivated individual who is able to demonstrate drive in a busy and dynamic department, great communication skills, an analytical mind set and superb initiative. You will assist in managing ledgers, overseeing organisation processes and providing key data for internal reporting and statutory accounts, as well as responsibility for developing and training a direct report. It is also a chance to become an integral part of a key department that offers variety, personal challenge and growth.


    The primary responsibility of the role will be to coordinate with a team of Accountants, Department Heads and Financial Controllers throughout the business to ensure accurate financial reporting for all business units and compliance with all accounting policies. The successful candidate would report to an Accounting Supervisor.




    • Oversee the timely completion of the monthly financial statement process
    • Upholding fiduciary responsibility by providing accurate Financial Statements
    • Schedule reconciliation to audit standard each month
    • Maintain and improve a strong system of internal controls
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to all operational departments
    • Business partner to Senior Management to improve operations, through reporting, cost control and efficiencies to add value to the business
    • Maintain a culture of ethical practice that demonstrates Enterprise core values
    • Engage and develop employees to progress through Business Management career path
    • Foster and maintain a positive and fun work environment
    • Strategic country-wide projects


    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Desire to learn and contribute in a fun working environment
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • An ability to work to strict deadlines
    • Highly energetic and motivated
    • Intermediate / Advanced PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Microsoft Access a plus
    • Excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills
    • ACCA/CIMA study support provided
