This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a background in developing business tools, analysing data and processes to drive efficiencies and support growth as the business continues its success across the UK and Europe. The role will allow the individual to work on key strategic business initiatives with a variety of Corporate, Shared Service, and Operations departments.

    The successful candidate will need to have expert VBA skills - coding and development, excellent stakeholder management skills, communication skills and problem solving abilities. This role also involves helping lead a small team of analysts to run scheduled tasks and deliver regular reporting and MI, so the desire to lead a team is a required.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and support business tools for Business Management, Vehicle Repair and Risk teams
    • Assist with departmental process reviews and increase automation and productivity
    • Create and manage scheduled tasks and MI reporting to various teams
    • Provide 2nd and 3rd level application and user support
    • Resolve complex exceptions on internal systems
    • Assist with investigations in processes and data mining requests

    Qualifications

    • An advanced competency in Microsoft Excel and VBA (development and coding) essential
    • Experienced with Microsoft Access development 
    • Analytical work experience essential with the ability to interpret, analyse and present data
    • SQL language skills would be desirable but not essential
    • Good communicator – both written and verbal
    • Strong desire to learn and challenge existing procedures
    • Detail orientated with a strong work ethic
    • Exposure to Terradata and SQL server would be advantageous
    • Strong organisational and planning skills
    • Ability to think independently, analytically and solve problems
    • Financial accounting knowledge is not essential but a nice to have
    • Previous management or team leadership experience would be a strong benefit
