An exciting opportunity has arisen within the European Application Development team at Enterprise Rent-a-Car for a Software Engineer with experience of developing .Net web applications.
This role offers the chance to be an influential part of a forward thinking and ambitious cross-functional development team delivering web based business solutions utilising Azure Cloud technologies with Dev Ops and continuous delivery. The team has adopted the Agile Scrum development methodology and utilises Microsoft Team Foundation Server, developing predominantly C# .NET solutions along with Entity Framework 6 (using code first), RESTful services and some Power shell scripting to deliver solutions.
The European Application Development Team is part of the European arm of a highly successful US based car rental company and was introduced in 2006 and caters for business applications and reporting requirements for the Enterprise Global market. The team is made up of Software Engineers, Project Managers, Analysts and other technical personnel.
You will need to be highly motivated and have a proven track record as a leader from a technical standpoint, promoting technical standards such as TDD, BDD and CI development processes, and work closely with other technical personnel to deliver new solutions on a variety of platforms.
