We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our IT team, based at our European Corporate Office in Egham, Surrey. 


The successful candidate will be responsible for working with our business stakeholders and product managers to gather and document user requirements for system based solutions.  This position will work very closely with the rest of the European IT team, US Corporate IT, our customer/business partners, as well as external vendors in order to meet the needs of our business.


This role will provide the right candidate with an opportunity to contribute to the development of web applications and SOA / middleware applications used by the European business, increase knowledge of industry recognised tools such as TFS, Visual Studio, Jira, SpecFlow and SQL Server whilst working in an experienced and innovative Agile software development team. As time permits, the role may also assist with change requests and incidents from initial report through to production release.

  • Develops, interprets, reviews, validates, documents, and maintains business and functional requirements.
  • Coordinates and facilitates meetings to define key capabilities and requirements that will enable stakeholders to define business strategy. 
  • Evaluates business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options; recommends solutions that best serve business needs.
  • Provides information about how requirements may affect functional design documents.
  • Serves as the primary interface between the user and the IT team; presents formal presentations to end users, stakeholders, and management.
  • Conducts structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project team members.
  • May lead acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are met.
  • Presents information regarding enhancements and tracks and responds to questions from business and IT team members.
  • Identifies potential problems that may arise with new or enhanced applications; communicates how problems will affect business; recommends solutions.
  • Writes business correspondence and technical reports; reviews report results for accuracy.
  • Researches opportunities to minimize complexity by leveraging current IT investments and seeking out cost effective solutions.
  • Participates in change management activities, including Q&A testing, troubleshooting, and investigation.
  • Performs task automation and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increased quality and service.
  • Maintains established service level agreements to manage customer expectations and quality standards; identifies opportunities for improvement.  
  • Protects our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; follows security policies and procedures; continuously identifies and recommends opportunities for improving security.


  • Preivous experience as a IT Business Analyst
  • Experience working in an Agile software development team


  • Experience working on Web applications and SOA / middleware applications.
  • Knowledge of industry recognised tools such as TFS, Visual Studio, Jira, Confluence, SpecFlow and SQL Server.
  • Desire to find solutions to complex business problems
  • Demonstrable ability to work with all levels of employees including Senior Stakeholders and Management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively to people with different levels of technical knowledge
