We are now very excited to announce an immediate opening for a Fleet Coordinator, to be based at our regional head office in Seacroft, Leeds.

 

We are looking for an applicant who has proven ability in customer service, who is able to prioritise their work and multi-task in order to hit deadlines. Communication is key in this role and the candidate will also need to have the ability to build relationships with our branch network as well as key accounts.

Responsibilities

 

Management of Customer Service and Operations

 

  • Support branch employees in providing the highest level of customer service to long term rental customers, either face-to-face, via email or on the phone.
  • Helping to manage the efforts of branch employees in providing a high level of customer service to our long term rental customers, customer flow, and telephone service.
  • Develop and maintain our long term rental operational plan
  • Use initiative, independent judgment, discretion, and decision-making skills to perform a variety of duties and solve problems. 
  • Organise rental contract renewals, switch outs and maintenance of our vehicles.
  • Liaise with branches on a daily basis to ensure the correct car is being delivered that meets our customer requirements.
  • Occasional driving duties

Sales and Marketing/Financial Performance

  • Manage branch account receivables
  • Reduce missing documents for damage claims.

Fleet Management and Maintenance

  • Evaluate fleet mix and rental utilisation
  • Manage fleet for rentals
  • Manage vehicle maintenance and repairs, including preventative maintenance, manufacturers' recalls, breakdowns and accident damage.
  • Manage upgrades and downgrades 

 

 

Qualifications

We would ask for the following minimum requirements:

  • An intermediate/advanced competency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • An ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work and communicate in a team.
