Currently we have an opportunity for a Global Distribution System Specialist to support our EMEA based customers booking the Enterprise, National and Alamo brands through the Global Distribution Systems.


In this role you will support Travel Management Companies (TMC’s), Travel Agencies and the sales support team across EMEA. You will also be responsible for undertaking data integrity audits for all EMEA countries on all data within the four GDS systems.


You will be required to represent our brands attending regular business reviews and agency car rental roadshows hosted by the GDS companies. 


In this role you will work closely with, and offer support to other internal departments, including global franchising, EBS and the global sales teams.


This position will report directly to the European Business Development Manager. 


The daily role will incorporate the following:

  • Providing GDS system support to internal customers.
  • Ensuring the integrity of the EMEA related data in the GDS systems.
  • Providing support to travel agencies based in EMEA.
  • Representing the Enterprise brands at the ACRISS project meetings.
  • Working closely with the GDS team based at our Global Head Office.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by your line manager.


  • Extensive user and data set up knowledge/ experience of Odyssey, Galileo, Worldspan, Sabre & Amadeus preferred
  • Knowledge of the major third party booking tools powered by the GDS systems preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Multi brand experience would be considered a plus
  • Strong analytical and complex issue solving skills
  • The ability to build strong multi-cultural relationships
  • Customer focused and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office products
  • Team player who is reliable and has a flexible attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Ability to multitask



Additional Information

  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Salary: Competitive
