The Heathrow Airport location of Enterprise Rent-A-Car has an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Logistics/Vehicle Repair Coordinator.

 

The Fleet Logistics/Vehicle Repair Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring and tracking the movement of the entire fleet of vehicles at the airport location in order to maintain the integrity of the fleet count and is responsible for working with daily rental operations and vendors to assess and coordinate the repair needs in order to maximize speed of service, quality and revenue generation by minimizing unnecessary maintenance expense and lag time.

 

This role also oversees the transporter movements of New Car Stock and Deleted Units as well as Health & Safety and Fuel deliveries. The ideal candidate should be a leader who enjoys working in a big team and with a diverse vendor base.

 

London Heathrow is the largest branch in Europe and at the world’s busiest airport. With 73 million passengers flying through Heathrow annually. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate organizational skill and ability to work within various aspect of the business.

  

 

This position requies shift work and candidates must be able available to work a 40 hour work week on a flexible shift system. This can include weekends, holidays and morining shifts starting from 5am and evening shifts ending at 12am.

  

 

Responsibilities

 

The ideal candidate must have a strong detail orientation, be highly organized and self motivated with a working knowledge and understanding of unit services.

 

  • Oversee vehicle inventory to ensure vehicles are properly accounted for and placed back into rental service in a timely manner.

  • Adhere to preventive maintenance requirements, as outlined by vehicle manufacturers.  Manage out-of-service units.

  • Coordinate vehicle movement to approved repair vendors.

  • Manage damaged cars coming one-way from other locations.

  • Verify claim and vehicle information match prior to vending vehicles to a shop.

  • Manage the onsite repair vendors.

  • Inspect vehicle repair quality upon repair completion.

  • Communicate with Regional vehicle repair team on shop vehicle status.

  • Deliver superior customer service by providing safe quality vehicles.

  • Coordinate branch to branch movement of vehicles and oversee transporter movement for NCS and deletes. 

  • Oversee Fuel delivery and management. Oversee site faclilities.

  • Provide suitable training with regards to boot to boot training, recording damage correctly, and one-way vehicle process.

  • Ensure all documents are up to date for in relation to Landside Airport Heath & Safety Policy.

  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to demonstrate customer service experience and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required.
  • Must be able to work shift patterns.
  • Legally authorised to work in the UK without restriction
  • Full UK Drivers License
