We are very excited to announce the opening for an HR Intern to sit in our European HR Department.  When you join our HR Placement Programme, you’ll acquire highly marketable skills and experience relating to every aspect of running a successful HR Department. You will soon discover that every day is different because it is filled with so many new, rewarding and often unexpected challenges. 


This opportunity is based at Enterprise Holdings' European Head Office in Egham, Surrey. 


  • Working with our European HR Director and wider team to implement and improve HR processes throughout Europe
  • Recruitment, arranging international travel and logistical planning for our International Management Trainee (IMT) candidates
  • Assistance with the development of a robust administrative and tracking plan for our IMT programme
  • Fielding of HR related questions from our European teams
  • Updating of employee information as and when required
  • Setting up and maintenance of personnel files
  • Auditing of personnel files and employee contracts 
  • Creating and improving existing templates and data storage solutions to be utilised by Generalist HR
  • Various ad-hoc HR related projects
  • Day to day HR queries for our Internaltional Sales team in Brighton


  • Must be a current undergraduate university student looking to undertake a placement year as part of your course (any discipline)
  • Competent with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Access.
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail
  • Team player who can work well within a team as well as on own initiative
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to speak either German, Spanish or French would be desirable but not essential

  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Salary: £17,000.00 per annum
  • Duration: The internship will run from the 13th August 2018 to the 9th August 2019

We accept applications for our Placement Programme from undergraduate university students that are due to take undertake a placement year starting summer 2018, regardless of university attended and subjects being studied. Our assessment is based on how you perform against the competencies that are required for your role.

  • Finally, you will be invited to attend one of our assessment days. Through the day, you’ll tackle a number of exercises designed around life at Enterprise. Don’t worry – it’s not too formal and most of our applicants agree it’s a great platform for you to shine.  It’s also a chance to meet some of the people you’ll be working with as well as our current interns.
