We are excited to announce a Business Analyst (Finance) placement opportunity; designed to provide a foundation in Business Analysis. This role will allow the successful candidate to provide financial and business-critical information to decision makers and senior management in a timely and efficient manner.  This involves working within a small team of analysts and supporting various members of the Enterprise European management teams. We build spreadsheet models, analyse company performance and help improve daily processes. 

  

This opportunity is based at Enterprise Holdings European Head Office in Egham, Surrey. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and compile scheduled UK and European analytical reports (daily, weekly and monthly) to assist internal strategies and external management information production for our clients to assist business reviews
  • Research to complete varied reports such as detailed analysis of business sectors to enhance Director decision making
  • Collaborate with numerous departments on projects such as IT for data mining, Sales team for client proposals and UK Finance for profitability reviews
  • Work on creating efficiencies within existing processes
  • Maintenance and development of a suite of reporting tools
  • Continuous communication with key stakeholders on issues affecting operations
  • Other special projects as required

Qualifications

  • Must be a current undergraduate university student looking to undertake a placement year as part of your course (any discipline)
  • Must have intermediate or above Microsoft Excel skills
  • Basic Microsoft Access skills would be advantageous, however, training will be available
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Must have a strong work ethic and can-do approach to problem solving
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn and innovate existing procedures
  • Ability to interpret, analyse and present data
  • Must have strong organisational & planning skills
  • Must be goal-oriented and motivated to accomplish own achievements

  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Salary: £17,000.00 per annum
  • Duration: The internship will run from the 13th August 2018 to the 9th August 2019

We accept applications for our Placement Programme from undergraduate university students that are due to take undertake a placement year starting summer 2018, regardless of university attended and subjects being studied. Our assessment is based on how you perform against the competencies that are required for your role.
